Fading Dream Contest!

My new novel, The Fading Dream, hits shelves in a few days.

The Fading Dream

The Fading Dream is the third and final novel in the Thorn of Breland series, covering the adventures of a secret agent in the wake of the Last War. The Thorn books are designed to stand alone, but as the culmination of a number of character arcs, you’ll certainly get more out of it if you’ve read the previous books (The Queen of Stone and The Son of Khyber). At this point, I don’t know when or if I’ll be writing more Eberron novels – as always, it’s going to depend on sales and on the continuing support for Eberron in the future – but those of you who’ve read The Dreaming Dark will be glad to hear that while there’s room for more, the book doesn’t end with a Gates of Night cliffhanger.

I’ve got a few author’s copies on hand, so I figured I’d do a simple contest for a signed copy of The Fading Dream. Rather than the creative challenge of the GenCon game, all you need to do here is post a response to this message. As long as you’re posting, I’d love to hear your thoughts on any of my previous novels, but all you actually need to do is say “Enter me in the drawing!”  On Monday morning, I’ll draw a name at random from all of the respondents and post the answer here, so you can get me your address. International is fine. So what are you waiting for? Post away!

I love everything you’ve done…from the Eberron setting itself, right through each book! I’ll really be showing the love for Eberron even more if/when you get out this way.

Keep up the great work, Keith!

(oh….and yeah, enter me in that drawing thingie too…. :D )

    Hey Keith,

It’s been awhile since I read Queen of Stone and my bookstore doesn’t carry a good selection of Eberron so I haven’t seen Son of Khyber on the shelves yet, I’ll definitely need to pick it up.

The thing I enjoyed most is how the Queen of Stone portrays the Eberron trope that things aren’t always what they seem. That hidden agendas and misdirection are a core part of the campaign setting. It’s great to have such a rich set of material to use in a campaign.

    thanks, matt

I have not read any of your books *that I know of*, but am a fan of DND and DDO. I have read many DND books and would love to win and read this book =D

    Hi,

I finally read City of Towers a month or so ago and was surprised at how interested I became in Sharn, an Eberron setting I’ve shied away form in the past. I never really liked the idea of a super-city in this setting I adore for it’s down-to-earth feel, CoT has me rereading the supplement of the same name and thinking new thoughts.

I’ve been scrambling to find the other Dreaming Dark books at a local shop, and would certainly love a copy of The Fading Dream.

I also hope Eberron is a part of the Abyssal Plague event in as interesting a way as possible.
