Hey everyone!
I’ve been very busy this last month, hence the lack of posts. I will be resuming my travels when time allows, but I’m going to be out of circulation for a little while to come. I’ll post more when time permits. However, something that IS in circulation is The Son of Khyber, book two in the THorn of Breland series. Available now on Amazon and hopefully, a store near you. Check it out, and I’ll write more when time allows.

It’s been a while since my last update. I’ve been dealing with various life issues, but the main thing is that i am hard at work on the third novel in the Thorn of Breland series. My final deadline is in two weeks, and I’m not going to be posting much or traveling again until it is done. Once it’s done, there are many things I want to do, including going back and telling some of the stories from my travels over the past year.
On other developments… I’m single. I have some friends who run a website that’s designed to help geeks find geeks, and hey, I admit...

In theory I return from Australia today… but there’s dust storms in the city that may play havoc with my flight.
Overall, the trip has been a mixed experience. My goal in traveling is to meet interesting people and see inspiring places, and I certainly accomplished the first part of that. My hosts in both Sydney and Brisbane were wonderful, and I met other interesting people at GenCon Oz. But due to my novel deadlines, I really didn’t get out to see much of the surrounding area. It’s my fault; it’s simply been harder to write while traveling than I’d hoped,...

I’m in Sydney and still working away on The Fading Dream. However, my hosts convinced me to do something I’ve been meaning to do for a while, which is to get onto Twitter. So if you want to follow me there, my account is HellcowKeith. This is still going to be the place for pictures and travel & gaming articles, but hey, for the five second post, look there.
Some of you may be saying “Why Hellcow?” Others may know that Hellcow is my typical username for message boards (ENWorld.org, RPG.net, Wizards.com) but not know the story behind it. I love Diablo as much as the next...

I’m going to be heading to Australia (specifically Sydney and Brisbane) in a few days for GenCon Oz. I’d like to thank Fastbreak Sports of Brisbane for helping with travel costs, which is what’s made the trip possible. However, I’m still wrapping up the third Thorn novel, and I won’t be doing any significant posts on HDWT until I get that nailed down.
For various reasons, this is a short trip. I’d hoped to extend it, traveling further around Australia and New Zealand, however it turns out that the cost to extend the flight is dramatically more expensive than...

I’m still working on The Fading Dream. I’ve got many plans for the site when I’m done, between writing about my travels and a few things I’d like to write about Eberron and gaming… but the novel has to come first, especially with my trip to Australia coming up very quickly.
Just to pass the time, here’s one of my interviews from GenCon:

I’m going to be stationary for the next few weeks. I’ll be taking a brief trip to California the first weekend in September for Pacificon (http://www.pacificongameexpo.com/), then my journey begins again when I leave for Australia and GenCon Oz (http://www.genconoz.com).
Between then and now, I have many plans for things I’d like to post on the site. Needless to say, I have many stories and pictures to share from the last three months. I also have a few gaming articles I’d like to post here. And when I have a moment to get CafePress sorted out, I have some shirts designed...

I’ve been to many interesting places over the past few months, from Seattle to Slovakia. On the 9th of August, I returned to Colorado. A few days later I set off again for GenCon Indy – one of the largest gaming conventions in the US.
Once upon a time, I used to go to these conventions to play games and have fun. I can still remember my very first GenCon, when Gary Gygax signed my copy of The Temple of Elemental Evil. These days I don’t have much time to play games. Instead I’m the one signing books. As a freelancer, GenCon also provides an important opportunity to network...

Hey all. I’m still in Germany, working on my novel and getting ready to start the trek back to the US. I’ll be going to GenCon in just over a week, and I hope I’ll have a chance to catch up with people there. It’s always busy, and I have some business to deal with and work to do while I’m there, as is almost always the way. I’m going to make Thursday evening my general hanging-out evening – following the Eberron seminar, I’d like just take time to hang out with anyone who’d like to talk about Eberron or anything else. If you’re going to...

I’m busy working on my novel, but I wanted to share this important news bulletin I saw when I was in Edinburgh!
